As part of the service on the HomeBuyerTaxCredit.com site, we’re delighted to offer a Certification Quiz for agents across the country who would like to get our “unofficial” Certification for expertise in the Home Buyer Tax Credit. The Quiz consists of 20 questions that test your fundamental understand of the basic requirements and also the application of the tax credit in particular circumstances.
The Quiz is not “scored,” although we do track the results for our own purposes. But if you finish it and provide us with your contact information, we’ll provide you with a Certification page online that you can use in your marketing. We will only be giving referrals from the site to agents who complete the Certification process, so this is a good way to get on our referral list in case we find people who need someone who knows the tax credit law and needs your help.
Consumers are also free to take the Certification Quiz if they wish, of course, just to see how well they understand it.

will i get 8000 tax credit if i buy a home for 3500
Hi @Kirkneil, I’m not sure of the question. The tax credit is 10% of the purchase price UP TO $8,000, so if you bought a home for $3,500 and you qualified, your maximum tax credit would be $350 (10% of $3,500).
